TOP3 Best Hotels and Ryokans with Private Onsen in Kinosaki Onsen
First, in order to protect the limited hot spring resource of Kinosaki Onsen, there are no rooms with private onsen. If you do not wish to use public onsen baths in the onsen town or communal onsen baths in ryokans or hotels, you may want to stay at accomodations with private family onsen baths that can be used in a completely private setting.
Alternatively, Nishimuraya Honkan and Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei have several rooms with wonderful private outdoor baths that use boiled water instead of hot spring water. The rooms with the private outdoor baths are very popular.
Having said that, if you want to go all the way to Japan, stay in a room with a private onsen, and fully enjoy the onsen, you may want to visit Arima Onsen or Kyoto instead of Kinosaki Onsen.
